Effective January 1, 2006, you must have an appointment in order to be seen in our office. The front desk staff will not be able to answer any specific questions you have regarding your Section 8 Voucher Assistance. You must either telephone your caseworker or schedule an appointment with your caseworker to get answers to specific questions regarding your case. The front desk staff will, however, be able to: • Accept paperwork for your caseworker
• Issue extensions on vouchers
• Issue Requests for Tenancy Approvals (RTA's)
• Respond to general questions regardinging moving, income changes, recertification and portions
If you require a portion letter, you must contact your caseworker ahead of time so that it is ready for you to pick up at the front desk unless you would prefer it to be mailed to you.
Once again, you will not be able to be seen in our office without an appointment. To schedule an appointment to see your caseworker, please call (716) 882-0063.
